Intervention

Physical techniques, equipment and proportionality

Study decision principles without treating a reading app as practical instruction.

Theory defines the boundary

A scenario can test legal authority, necessity, proportionality and reassessment. It cannot teach physical technique or replace supervised practical instruction.

Use the least sufficient measure

Do not select an intervention through habit or convenience. It must respond to the present need and decrease when that need decreases.

Equipment requires control

Handcuffs and batons are standard equipment, but their use is governed by law, rules, training and circumstances. Control and observation continue after use.

Monitor health and position

Observe breathing, consciousness, complaints and body position. Stop, provide aid and summon the right resource when injury or illness is suspected.
