Emergency care
Emergency care, S-CABCDE and look-alike conditions
Build a priority order for scene safety, life threats and a clear medical handover.
Make the scene safe
Check traffic, violence, fire, weapons and environmental hazards before providing aid. A harmed responder cannot continue helping.
Use a structured sequence
S-CABCDE prioritises catastrophic bleeding, airway, breathing, circulation, disability and exposure. Follow the version taught in current official training.
